~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~Slush rushing slush . . . ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~ ~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~ slimy, slippery . . . ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~

~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~blood stained slush . . . ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~

~~~~~~ ~~~~down the gutter going ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~

~~~~~ without pause, but . . . WHY, HEAVENS, WHY!? ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~ ~~ ~~  ~ ~~~ ~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~A black fist emerges

~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ from the bottom up~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~not begging, not pleading ~~~~ ~~ ~~ ~~~ ~ ~~~~~ ~~ ~~ ~~~ ~~~~  ~~~~ determined to stand. ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~ ~~
