The Spring Cafe is a place where you can meet your international neighbors and learn about global cultures. We make our coffee shop a classroom, by employing refugees and providing training programs designed to prepare them to enter the customer service industry. The Spring Cafe was founded by Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning, a non-profit serving Denver’s immigrant and refugee community.

Can you imagine moving to a new country, where you have to learn a different language, and try to find a job all in a matter of months? The Spring Cafe works with refugees who have a desire to work in the customer service industry by offering hands-on training and English practice behind the register. Not only do they have to learn English, but they have to learn the peculiar language of customer service!
